The Big Game

victory_teaser.jpg Lately it seems that the University of Toledo is the big rival of every MAC football opponent it comes up against. (at least to the other teams) I suppose it's because Toledo is perennially the team to beat if you want to win the West Division. This past Tuesday continued the most heated "true rivalry" in the conference, against BGSU.
As if that wasn't enough, the stakes were raised by having the divisional championship and a bowl game on the line for the Toledo seniors' last home (and nationally televised - ESPN2) game.

A Toledo fan holds a burning Bowling Green flag on the 50-yard-line of the Glass Bowl after the win. He was later arrested and taken from the facility in handcuffs.

The capacity crowd of nearly 32,000 cheers the Toledo victory as the last few seconds tick off the clock.
