I was standing on the court waiting to shoot "yet another tennis match." I'll admit that sometimes I let myself get in a rut mentally and think things like that. It's a lot easier to keep your eyes open if your mind isn't closed.
That said, one of the tennis players joked with me that since she was playing in the second doubles match I should ignore the first doubles team.
You better watch out what you ask for, you just might get it...

I know how you feel Dan - covering tennis can get pretty blah. It's nice to see that you found some humor in an otherwise humorless event.
