Faces

Posted in Photos at 11:00 pm by photodan

We’re working on the brochure for the new season of plays for theatre department at the University of Toledo. Since it’s not possible to take photos of plays that don’t have sets or even casts chosen yet, we’re going to illustrate it with an interpretation of ‘facades’ instead. These are just a couple test illustrations we made during the first day of shooting.

Let me know what you think.

Dan, as usual, you kick butt. If I had 1/10 the talent and skills you have… :)

Even though the implementation is very different, the first thing I thought about was HP’s camera/printer ads that ran starting in 2005. I do, however, think your images are compelling.

    Thanks, Bryan!

Yeah, it’s definitely an old technique but I think we’ll have some fun with it anyway. You really ought to see some of the facial expressions we have to work with. I’ll try to post some a bit later.

Dan, I think it’d be cool if an old person’s face was used on a young person’s body! Or maybe that’s just gross…..ummm, yeah, anyway….. hehe
